Stephen Moore is a renowned economist, author, and policy expert, currently serving as a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation and co-founder of The Committee to Unleash Prosperity. A leading voice on economic policy, Moore frequently lectures worldwide on the U.S. economy and political landscape. He has authored six books, including Trumponomics: Inside the America First Plan to Revive Our Economy.

Moore earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and holds a Master of Arts in Economics from George Mason University.

From 1999 to 2004, he founded and led the Club for Growth, an influential organization dedicated to electing free-market candidates to Congress. Under his leadership, the group became one of the most powerful political organizations in the nation. From 2005 to 2014, Moore was the senior economics writer for The Wall Street Journal editorial page and a member of its editorial board. He continues to contribute to the publication.

Moore played a key role in shaping economic policy during President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, serving as a senior economic advisor and helping draft tax, budget, and energy plans.

His contributions to economic thought have earned him numerous accolades. In 2007, he received the Ronald Reagan “Great Communicator” Award for advancing economic understanding. He was named University of Illinois Alumnus of the Year in 2010, and his book Return to Prosperity: How America Can Regain its Economic Superpower Status was a finalist for the prestigious F.A. Hayek Award. In 2018, Worth Magazine recognized Moore as one of the 75 Most Influential People in the World in economics and finance.
